An Ode to the Diggers and the Levellers

We are stealing from banks to fuel our tanks we are searching for alleyways that we should explore,
And if we do not fight with all of our might there will be no forest left for us anymore,
It will not be fun when you pick up your gun because it is time to prepare for war,
We will wake up with a kettle of coffee before the sun and then we will battle for utopia’s shore,

There are piles of gold buried underneath miles of mold the diggers will keep on digging,
While we level playing fields armed with our swords and our shields until the gears of freedom start spinning,

Today we have enough stuff for all of us to live, we have communal meetings in our bunker,
And we have managed to find many gifts that we can give even though this world has been torn asunder,
I do not want to die in a glorious last stand i would rather live to fight another day,
But I am willing to die to keep the ember of freedom burning if there is no other way,
